How to cancel Perplexity Pro

Perplexity Pro is cancelled in Settings → Manage Subscription on the web. Subscribed in the app? Cancel with Apple or Google — the option won't show in Perplexity.

Checked in October 2026 against Perplexity Pro’s own help pages. Perplexity Pro typically costs about €20 a month (€240 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in on perplexity.ai and open Settings.
Under Subscription select Manage Subscription.
Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Perplexity Pro app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Perplexity Pro, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Perplexity Pro, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

Pro stays until the end of the billing cycle, then the account goes back to the free version.

Refunds

Monthly plans can be refunded within 24 hours of purchase, annual plans within 72 hours, and in the EU, UK and Turkey within 14 days. On the web the refund option appears with the cancellation.

Watch out for

Deleting your account doesn't end the subscription — cancel first.
Still charged? Check Manage Subscription again, then contact support via Help.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Perplexity Pro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
