How to cancel PlayStation Plus
PlayStation Plus is cancelled — auto-renew turned off — on the console or in Account Management on the web.
Checked in October 2026 against PlayStation Plus’s own help pages. PlayStation Plus typically costs about €13.99 a month (€167.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- On the web: sign in to PlayStation Account Management, open Subscription, and select Cancel below PlayStation Plus.
- On a PS5: Settings → Users and Accounts → Account → Payment and Subscriptions → Subscriptions → PlayStation Plus → Cancel Subscription.
What happens after you cancel
The membership stays active until the next payment date, and you can switch it back on before then.
Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of first buying the subscription, even after using it, possibly reduced for the time used. Automatic renewals don't carry that right. Turning off renewal stops future charges but doesn't refund what's been paid.
Watch out for
- Turn renewal off well before the payment date — don't leave it to the last hours.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track PlayStation Plus in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
