How to cancel Plex Pass

A Plex Pass billed by Plex is cancelled on the Subscriptions & Payments page of your Plex account. Bought through Amazon or Apple, cancel there.

Checked in October 2026 against Plex Pass’s own help pages. Plex Pass typically costs about €4.99 a month (€59.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in on plex.tv and open Subscriptions & Payments.
Cancel the future renewal of your Plex Pass.
Through Roku or Google Play: renewal can also be stopped there. Through Amazon or Apple: manage it in that account.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Plex Pass app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Plex Pass, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Plex Pass, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — Amazon and Roku? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Plex Pass can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

Plex Pass stays until the current period ends.

Refunds

Cancelling only stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current payment.

Watch out for

Billing questions the steps don't cover go through the billing form on Plex's website.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Plex Pass in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
