How to cancel Pocket Casts Plus

Pocket Casts Plus is cancelled on the platform you bought it on: the website or desktop app (Profile → Cancel Subscription), the App Store or Google Play.

Checked in October 2026 against Pocket Casts Plus’s own help pages. Pocket Casts Plus typically costs about €3.99 a month (€47.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Website or desktop app: log in, open your Profile and click Cancel Subscription.
iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Pocket Casts → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → Pocket Casts → cancel (at the bottom of the screen).

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Pocket Casts Plus app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Pocket Casts Plus, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Pocket Casts Plus, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for, then the account reverts to a free sync account.

Refunds

Plus fees are generally non-refundable under the Terms of Use, but Google, Apple or the website's policy may allow one. A refund ends access immediately.

Watch out for

Files you uploaded to the cloud are deleted when the subscription ends; downloaded episodes stay on your devices.
Folders and bookmarks stop being accessible.
Uninstalling the app doesn't end billing — cancel on the platform you bought from.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Pocket Casts Plus in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
