How to cancel Runna
Runna is cancelled in the store or payment platform where you signed up — Apple, Google Play, the Paddle customer portal or Strava — not in the app.
Checked in October 2026 against Runna’s own help pages. Runna typically costs about €19.99 a month (€239.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Runna → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Runna → Cancel.
- Bought on the web: cancel in the Paddle customer portal.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Runna app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Runna, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Runna, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
Billed by someone else — Paddle and Strava? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Runna can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
Monthly plans keep access until the end of the billing cycle; annual plans keep access for the 12 months already paid.
Refunds
Handled by the platform you subscribed through — Apple, Google, Paddle or Strava — not Runna.
Watch out for
- Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, or before a free trial converts.
- Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel the subscription.
- On the joint Strava + Runna subscription, see Runna's Strava guide.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Runna in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
