How to cancel Setapp

Setapp is cancelled on the Subscription page of your Setapp account (Manage subscription → Cancel subscription). Single apps and credit bundles are cancelled separately.

Checked in October 2026 against Setapp’s own help pages. Setapp typically costs about €9.99 a month (€119.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in to your Setapp account and open the Subscription page.
Select Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription.
Answer the short survey and confirm.

What happens after you cancel

The account stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that the apps stay installed but stop working.

Refunds

A cancelled subscription isn't refunded for the unused part of the current period.

Watch out for

Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or period.
Deleting the apps doesn't cancel the subscription.
A single app: Purchases → the app → Subscription settings → Cancel subscription.
A credit bundle isn't stopped by cancelling the membership — cancel it under Purchases → Credit bundle.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Setapp in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
