How to cancel Sketch
Sketch bought directly is cancelled by a Workspace admin in the web app under Settings → Billing. Bought in the Mac App Store, cancel there. Documents are deleted 90 days later.
Checked in October 2026 against Sketch’s own help pages. Sketch typically costs about €10 a month (€120 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Direct purchase: as an admin switch to the Workspace → Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription.
- Mac App Store: App Store → Account Settings → Subscriptions → Manage → Edit next to Sketch → Cancel Subscription.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Sketch app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Sketch, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Sketch, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
What happens after you cancel
A direct subscription keeps working until the end of the billing period. A cancelled or expired subscription can be reactivated within 90 days, as long as the Workspace hasn't been manually deleted.
Watch out for
- The Workspace and all stored documents are permanently deleted 90 days after the cancellation date — download your documents locally first.
- In the web app only an admin can cancel.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Sketch in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
