How to cancel Slack Pro
Slack Pro is cancelled by switching the workspace to the free plan: Admin → Manage billing → Change plan details. A workspace owner or admin does it.
Checked in October 2026 against Slack Pro’s own help pages. Slack Pro typically costs about €7.25 a month (€87 a year).
Cancel on the web
- In the desktop app open Admin (or the workspace name menu) → Manage billing.
- On the Overview tab select Change plan details.
- Choose the free plan, pick whether it applies now or at renewal, and continue to checkout.
What happens after you cancel
Paid features stop and the free plan's message, file and app limits apply. Slack Connect channels with other organisations disconnect, and channel email addresses stop working.
Refunds
Payments already made aren't refunded.
Watch out for
- On a free trial, you may need to contact Slack to downgrade.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Slack Pro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
