How to cancel SoundCloud Go+

SoundCloud Go+ is cancelled on the Subscriptions page in a web browser — not in the app. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled there.

Checked in October 2026 against SoundCloud Go+’s own help pages. SoundCloud Go+ typically costs about €10.99 a month (€131.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in on soundcloud.com in a browser (desktop works best) and open your Subscriptions page.
  2. Select Edit next to your plan, then the opt-out option at the bottom of the page.
  3. Confirm and cancel. After refreshing, “EXPIRES” next to the billing date means it worked.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the SoundCloud Go+ app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap SoundCloud Go+, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap SoundCloud Go+, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep every feature until the paid period ends, then the account goes back to free SoundCloud.

Refunds

SoundCloud doesn't refund subscription time already delivered.

Watch out for

  • Also on Artist Pro? Cancelling Go+ doesn't cancel it — cancel each plan separately.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track SoundCloud Go+ in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
