How to cancel Splice

Checked in October 2026 against Splice’s own help pages. Splice typically costs about €12.99 a month (€155.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Go to the Splice plans page and select cancel for your subscription.
  2. Splice offers to pause first — decline it to continue.
  3. Confirm with the red cancel subscription button.

What happens after you cancel

The plan runs to the end of the billing period and you aren't charged again. Sounds you already bought stay available, but you can't get new content or spend credits.

Refunds

UK and EU: a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of signing up for a paid plan, but using the service in that window waives it.

Watch out for

  • Unused credits expire 28 days after your final billing period — resubscribe within it to restore them.
  • Rent-to-Own is a separate subscription per product.
  • Deleting your account removes your likes, collections, samples and plugins — download your sounds first.

Cheaper than cancelling?

  • Pause for one or two months and keep your credits (not offered on annual plans).

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Splice in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
