How to cancel Synology C2
Synology C2 is stopped in two steps in your Synology Account portal: turn off auto-renewal, then optionally deactivate the service — which ends it at once and deletes your data after a grace period.
Checked in October 2026 against Synology C2’s own help pages. Synology C2 typically costs about €3.99 a month (€47.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Open the subscription detail page in the Synology Account portal (Licenses & Subscriptions → Cloud Services tab).
- Turn off renewal before the subscription end date.
- To end it now, deactivate the C2 service from the same page.
What happens after you cancel
Uploaded data is permanently deleted after a grace period, usually 30 days.
Refunds
Refunds aren't available after cancellation or termination.
Watch out for
- Deactivating ends the subscription immediately — turning off renewal alone lets it run to its end date.
- Wording differs by region (for example a different cancellation deadline and a 21-day resubscribe grace period on the Swedish page) — check the support page for yours.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Synology C2 in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
