How to cancel Tidal

Checked in October 2026 against Tidal’s own help pages. Tidal typically costs about €10.99 a month (€131.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in at account.tidal.com.
  2. Open the Subscription section and choose to cancel.
  3. Confirm the cancellation.

Open account.tidal.com ↗

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Tidal app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Tidal, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Tidal, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access to the end of the current billing period; the cancellation takes effect the day after it.

Watch out for

  • Deleting your Tidal account doesn't cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google.
  • An artist who wants to keep Tidal Artist Home should cancel, not delete the account.

Cheaper than cancelling?

  • Tidal Family covers up to 6 people for about €16.99 a month.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Tidal in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
