How to cancel Todoist Pro

Todoist Pro is cancelled in Settings → Subscription → Cancel plan. A yearly plan bought on the website can be refunded there within 30 days.

Checked in October 2026 against Todoist Pro’s own help pages. Todoist Pro typically costs about €4 a month (€48 a year).

Cancel on the web

Open Todoist → Settings → Subscription.
Click Cancel plan.
Yearly plan within 30 days? Choose to end it immediately with a refund.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Todoist Pro app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Todoist Pro, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Todoist Pro, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — the Microsoft Store? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Todoist Pro can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

Otherwise you keep Pro features until the end of the billing cycle and aren't charged again.

Refunds

Monthly payments are refunded only where consumer law requires. Yearly plans bought on the website: self-serve refund within 30 days. App Store refunds come from Apple; for Google Play, cancel and then ask Todoist; the Microsoft Store doesn't refund.

Can't get into your account? Contact Todoist and they'll verify you and cancel it.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Todoist Pro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
