How to cancel Tresorit

Tresorit is cancelled in the Admin Center or Account Portal under Billing → Modify plan → Cancel subscription. It drops to the free Basic plan when the paid period ends.

Checked in October 2026 against Tresorit’s own help pages. Tresorit typically costs about €11.99 a month (€143.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Open the Admin Center or Account Portal and go to Billing.
Select Modify plan, then Cancel subscription.
Give a reason and confirm.

What happens after you cancel

The change takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you can use the service until then. When the subscription expires, the account moves to a free Basic plan.

Refunds

No full or partial refunds once a period is paid. A 7-day money-back guarantee covers new purchases — email support@tresorit.com within that window.

Watch out for

Cancelling isn't deleting the account — deletion is permanent.
A business owner who wants to delete their account must first remove users or transfer ownership.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Tresorit in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
