How to cancel Waking Up

Waking Up is cancelled where you subscribed: in the App Store, Google Play, or Account Settings → Subscriptions on the website.

Checked in October 2026 against Waking Up’s own help pages. Waking Up typically costs about €129.99 a year.

Cancel on the web

iPhone: in the app open the menu (bottom right) → Subscriptions, then cancel or change the plan.
Android: manage the subscription from the Google Play subscription screen.
Website: log in at wakingup.com → More → Account Settings → Subscriptions.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Waking Up app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Waking Up, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Waking Up, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access until the end of the billing cycle.

Refunds

Ask through the app store you used, or email support@wakingup.com.

Watch out for

Deleting your account is different from cancelling, and it can't be undone.
Bought outside the app stores? You must use the web app to cancel.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Waking Up in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
