How to cancel WeightWatchers

WeightWatchers (WW) is cancelled on its cancellation page or through 24/7 chat. A commitment or prepaid plan only ends when its period is over.

Checked in October 2026 against WeightWatchers’s own help pages. WeightWatchers typically costs about €22.95 a month (€275.40 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in and open the WW cancellation page.
Choose to cancel (the same page lets you switch plans instead).
If something goes wrong, use the 24/7 chat in the WW app.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the WeightWatchers app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap WeightWatchers, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap WeightWatchers, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

A monthly plan ends at the close of the membership month in which you cancel. A Commitment Plan or Pre-pay Savings Plan ends when its period is over; after that, at the end of the month you cancel in.

Refunds

Covered by the refund policy in WW's membership terms; fees for a period that has already started are generally not refunded.

Watch out for

Cancelling a multi-month commitment plan early doesn't end it early — plan for the full term.
Rules differ by country: in Australia and New Zealand cancellation is by phone or chat.

Cheaper than cancelling?

Switch to a cheaper plan on the same page instead of cancelling.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track WeightWatchers in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
